Fun, charming, Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of Mendocino Village is hiring for an innkeeper to join our team. Our inn has nine sweet rooms where guests receive breakfast in their rooms each morning. We guarantee a base gratuity per room in addition to your base salary. Our staff is friendly, helpful, and proud of what we offer. Our staff has a positive, friendly, and caring energy which brings guests back, time and time again.

This is a part-time, permanent position. Hours can range from 25 to 32 hours per week, depending on seasonality. Regular hours are weekdays, and the position includes working one weekend per month. We offer paid sick time and six month bonuses.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
Must be friendly, dependable, kind, honest and have a good eye for details.
Comfortable greeting guests and providing them with information so they can enjoy their visit and stay in Mendocino.
Comfortable answering the phone and learning a reservation system software (ThinkReservations).
Able to assemble breakfast trays and carry them to rooms, including balance, walking up stairs, and carrying the tray that weighs around 5-9 pounds.
Kitchen work includes cleaning up after breakfast, loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning kitchen surfaces, and restocking supplies.
Must be able to stand for a period of time, walk up and down stairs, and on brick pathways.
This position requires working a combination of morning and afternoon shifts on different days with a set weekly schedule.
Baking and fruit preparation.
Morning shifts start at 7:30 AM and end between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.
Afternoon shifts run from 2:45 PM to 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM high season.
