We are looking for a temporary housekeeper from now until the end of August to work at a 25 room Hotel in Point Arena, Ca.
We will provide a room for the duration of employment. One person. No pets. Must pass drug and background check. Must be able to work any day of the week. You will usually work between 3-5 days a week. Weekends are a must.
Work between 20-40 hours a week. $13-$16 per hour, based on experience, plus lodging. You would stay in a guest room with a queen bed, mini fridge, and microwave, and private bathroom. There is no cooking in the room, but we can give you access to our breakfast room, where you could use a small counter cook top if you choose.
The job would end at the end of August, possibly into mid September.
The hotel sits on a bluff. There are a lot of stairs you will be going up and down, daily. Some rooms are up two flights of stairs. There is no elevator on the property.
Duties Include, but not limited to:
Strip units of soiled linens
Remove trash from units
Clean units including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks
Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection
Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure
Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes , furniture, and linens
Report missing inventory and supplies to Supervisor
Report lost and found items to Supervisor
Perform weekly guest service cleans as directed
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage closets
Assist with washing / drying / folding laundry
Maintain a sense of urgency so that units are turned on time
Personal timeliness, be prompt with all assignments
