To answer questions regarding these services, their Reception and Records Unit frequently interacts with the public, executive management, and the County Administrator’s Office (CAO). As the Unit's Customer Service & Grant Program Manager, you will directly supervise the Office Support Supervisor, respond to Public Records Act requests, and:Oversee ongoing customer service activities including, creating, prioritizing, and streamlining communication strategies and systems
Evaluate department customer service practices and make recommendations to executive management regarding changes to policies and procedures
Be the primary point of contact for grant management activities, including working with executive management to develop the department's strategic plan, while prioritizing grant development and seeking grant opportunitiesIn order to effectively prioritize and coordinate customer service and grant program objectives, our ideal candidate will have experience:Effectively communicating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, both orally and in writing
Developing, implementing, and evaluating customer service policies and procedures
Preparing grants and completing related administrative responsibilities including, budget and expenditure tracking and reporting
Conducting cost benefit analysis, and developing cost projections and other financial reports
