Oscar's Place is a nonprofit donkey ranch located just outside of Hopland. We will have 102 donkeys in January. This is hard - but meaningful workand the team is great! This posting is for two part time jobs that will start as a 1099 temp position. If we both decide to proceed after the initial 90 days, it could transfer into a permanent role.
Shift 1 will be 7am - 1pm Thursday through Monday. Off on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Shift 2 will be 7am-1pm Tuesday through Saturday. Off on Sunday and Monday.
The #1 thing you will be doing is scooping donkey poop. There is a lot of it and it takes many hours each day. Once that is done, there is work to be done with the donkeys, facilities and grounds.
Please only reply if you have your own transportation without a long drive, are reliable and want to join a great team and do some really hard work - again - that includes a lot of poop scooping! (just being extra clear up front)
Covid vaccine record and legal working status required.
