Safe Passage Family Resource Center, Fort Bragg, CA “ seeks bilingual (Spanish/English) Youth Advocate for our Assets and Triple P parenting programs.

-Provide advocacy for non English speaking parents of high school students seeking to improve their English conversational skills.

- Attend High School events to provide assistance and information regarding services to assist them on their literacy needs.

- Provide translation assistance in the Fort Bragg schools for IEP's.

- Assist parents in accessing the Aries system.

- Attend trainings and meetings in Fort Bragg/ Ukiah and other locations in the county.

- Work closely with government and other non profit agencies.

- Facilitate parenting classes in Spanish and English using the Triple P curriculum.

- Facilitate play groups for small children and their guardian's.

- Basic case management in support of community referrals to meet family needs.

- Documentation of all services. Provide monthly and annual service reports.

- Assist parents in attending LatCo meetings.

- Ability to use the Family Resource Center network database.

- Work some weekends/evenings for community events.

Candidates should have case management experience and who thrives in a client-centered, diverse environment. Prefer at least 2 years experience; 32 hrs/wk. Must be able to speak, type, write and read in Spanish and English. Bilingual required. Email cover letter and resume.
