Parents & Friends, an non-profit organization serving people with developmental special needs since 1955, is hiring a full-time Manager for the Paul Bunyan Thrift Shop. This position oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations, including budgeting, scheduling, recurring reports, and safety enforcement. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate with a wide variety of individuals, have experience in retail management, personnel management, work well with other, and have the skill to value merchandise. The types of valuations include collectibles, antiques, rare items, books, jewelry, furniture and anything else you can think of.
Applicants must have a clean DMV record, a negative TB test and be able pass a background check. Benefits include paid vacation and sick pay, paid health, dental, vision and life insurance. Retirement options available.
