RESPONSIBILITIES • Define system requirements • Be able to execute design and implementation into production • Be able to build up the analysis of system performance at various angles • Be able to do cross-functional working with hardware and software teams • Build relationship with industry partners to achieve state-of-the-art optical system MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • MS degree in technical discipline with 3+ years of experience or advanced degree in optical engineering related with 2+ years of experience. • Knowledge in one of the skills listed below: o Complex optical system design (e.g. imaging optics) o Optical tolerance budget against conventional Monte Carlo Simulation o Optically graded plastic and glass material o Optical metrology o Stray light and analysis • Experience in optical software package (e. g. Zemax, Code V, LighTools, FRED, ASAP, Eikonal, Trace Pro, OSLO). • Experience in both sequential and non-sequential optical design software. • Interpersonal experience to work with cross-functional teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • MS in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline. • Experience in opto-mechanical design and tolerance analysis. • Knowledge of camera system integration and metrology methodology for camera lens testing and camera module evaluation.
