A Menlo-Park start-up in the consumer gaming space is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can come in, wrangle their environment and establish a scalable data infrastructure that will be able to manage a quickly evolving set of data needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Python scripting experience
• Comfortable working with Spark/PySpark
• Experience with Data Pipeline development, data warehousing and ETL
• Experience scaling a data environment in a start-up
• Strong SQL

Desired Skills & Experience

• Thorough knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud Platform

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

• 60% Python coding and Spark
• 40% SQL

Daily Responsibilities

• 30% New Architecture
• 50% Coding and Implementation
• 20% POC-ing New Technologies
