In this position you will play a key role in maintaining system uptime, availability, and performance for deployed units on customer sites in a specific region.
Duties include:
Repair and/or perform maintenance on components and assemblies that make up our generators in accordance with procedures and build checklists in order to meet customer requirements
Collaborate with engineers to fix, repair, and redesign components and assemblies
Conduct mechanical inspections of deployed units, documenting condition information for use by our team for debugging or trouble-shooting
Be “on-call” for unit service based upon written schedule: Units run 24/7 and MSE is responsible, with the Technician, for maximum availability and uptime
SFO-04 WS-04 Shift start: 7:00AM
Shift length: 10 hours
4 x 10 hour days, or 5 x 8 hour days. May need to work weekends.
Experience with precision measuring, down to .001”, using micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, etc.
Valid Driver’s license required. Class C Commercial Driver’s License preferred
