Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Design Program Manager (DPM) to support design operations within our Client Business Suite design team. This DPM will partner with design managers, collaborate with product designers, and report to a DPM Manager within Client Business Suite.
We're looking for someone who can:
Cultivate strong relationships and serve as a dependable point of contact with stakeholders and partners across design and cross-functional product teams.
Communicate clearly and effectively by succinctly articulating requests, questions, and findings to ensure stakeholders are informed of work and progress.
Optimize and streamline design operations to drive team efficiency and impact.
Develop new and leverage existing frameworks to create efficiencies, streamline operational responsibilities, improve communication, and help the design team deliver on our business goals.
Core Responsibilities
Build and iterate on an onboarding program to allow newly hired designers quickly and effectively onboard into the design team.
Amplify the work that the Client design team is doing through broad communications that highlight what the design team has delivered, progress they've made, and challenges they''re facing.
Encourage & facilitate sign-ups for the weekly design critique and develop a framework for gathering and sharing discussion and takeaways.
Facilitate design reviews, take notes, summarize and send out to partner teams.
Support and execute special team activities that build culture and drive clarity of purpose including team off-site and team onsites.
Support additional design operation initiatives as needed to drive effectiveness and efficiency of the design team.
Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience as a producer, project manager or program manager with a background establishing systems, supporting teams, and developing relationships.
Experience working with product designers/UX teams on delivering initiatives that improve the design teams workflow and outcomes.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, product management, etc.
Track record of operating independently, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with independent time management, task prioritization, ability to identify problems, establish timelines, and work towards solutions.
