Job Overview Lodestone is looking for Senior Software Engineers passionate in building up strong foundational technological services and products in the field of artificial intelligence. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role working with our client's Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver on high-impact projects and operational excellence. Description of Work This role is geared towards developing an ML platform to support labeling collection and tools for assessing data quality. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working autonomously and actively engage in problem solving across XFN / client teams and interface with product teams to solve technical problems. Responsibilities:
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations teams (both internal and clients) to configure, maintain, and develop software
Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
Develop technical solutions, web features, and tools to support labeling platform initiatives
Enhance overall system reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability of new platform features
Work autonomously
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of industry experience in software engineering, development
5+ years experience with programming languages (PHP, Python, C or Java)
3+ years experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Frameworks such as React or similar
General knowledge of machine learning concepts and real-world applications
Experience working with Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, Spark, or MySQL
Ability to independently and creatively solve problems
Preferred Qualification:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related technical field, or equivalent related experience
5+ years experience developing with PHP & Python
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize issues while maintaining the level of quality and efficiency
Previously worked on labeling platforms, tools, and features
Prior machine learning experience as an engineer or data scientist
