Job Description:
FRL's Global Sales Channel Services team supports our first and third-party sales channels through execution of field sales and merchandising programs. In a highly cross functional environment, the team designs, builds, deploys, and manages experiential programs that engage shoppers to drive awareness, trial, and conversion. The Channel Services team seeks a process-focused, detail oriented program manager to lead the launch of these programs. The right candidate is highly organized and can easily toggle between fighting short-term fires, chasing updates, building consensus, and maintaining an ongoing release schedule. This is a full- time position based in our Menlo Park office.
As a Channel Services program manager, you'll be responsible for managing the forward looking release schedule of field sales and merchandising activities of a product line. You will track the milestones and dependencies necessary for on-time delivery of product launches and updates. You will liaise between the Channel Services functional teams and external production partners and stakeholders. You will help to establish the program management functions of the Channel Services team including processes and artifacts.
Responsibilities
Be the primary point of contact for intake of program requests, updates, and outbound status communications Partner will Channel Services functional teams to capture and track key deliverables and dependencies Acting liaison between Channel Services functional teams and cross functional working teams (Channel Marketing, Creative, Production, Legal) Organize and conduct meetings with key work partners to facilitate program execution and communications Contingency planning, priority negotiation, creative problem solving, and escalations when warranted Manage schedules and production flow for promotions, campaigns, program refreshes, and product launches Maintain a 18-month forward looking production calendar of Channel Services activities for a product line Develop, document, and socialize scalable processes
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience
3 years of program management experience Experience working in a fast paced, highly cross functional environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail; easily able to detect inconsistencies and errors Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision Experience with project and schedule management tools Experience developing and documenting repeatable processes Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, and flexible Excellent communicator, superb verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of program management experience
Experience managing the launch of field sales and/or merchandising programs in third-party retail Experience in consumer electronics Professional program/project management or agile certification
