California MENTOR has openings right now for:CAREGIVER / DSP for Group HomesHIRING NOW: Monday-Friday early morning shiftsOur Caregivers in the Merced/Atwater area work with adults with developmental disabilities in a home environment. Our priority is quality of life for the individuals we serve and the employees we work with and our culture is all about teamwork. Job duties include assisting with Activities of Daily Living like outings and appointments, activities, dressing, personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, bathing, toileting assistance, transportation in company vehicles, and so on. There are usually extra hours to pick up if you're interested in it and we provide ongoing training and enrichment, as well as some cool perks for part time and full time employees!
Minimum requirements if hired for our positions:Experience: at least ONE YEAR experience in direct support to the developmentally disabled (autism, down syndrome, epilepsy, Alzheimer's, dementia, certain forms of mental illness, blindness, deafness, physical disabilities, and so on);
Similar experience may be considered, will consider volunteer experience - email from this post if you want to confirm your experience would qualify
Two references - Experience must be verified with current or previous supervisors we can contact by phone or email
High school diploma or G.E.D.
18 years or older
Valid CA Driver's License
