Requirements for consideration:
12-24 months of experience as a Dental Assistant in a Dental Care environment
Valid California RDA and X-Ray license
Flexible to work Saturdays
Have Non-Slip safety footwear and black scrubs or dark solid colored scrubs preferred.
Dental Assistant duties include:
Prepare treatment room and patients for dental treatment.
Assisting dentist by delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments, manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory
Mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth.
Provide diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies; pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.
Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
Document dental care services by charting in patient records.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
