The Morning Star Company, and its affiliates, operate three tomato processing facilities in California, processing 25% to 30% of the California crop, plus tomato transplanting, harvesting and trucking operations. Employment is approximately 350 year-round and over 2,000 seasonal colleagues with annual sales exceeding $900 million.
Job Description
We are currently hiring driven individuals to join our team for the upcoming processing season. All jobs are 40 hours or more per week. $12-17 per hour, depending on the position.
Machine Operators
Forklift Drivers
Bin and Drum Manufacturing
Sorters
Unloaders
Bin assembler and sorter
Sanitation
Finisher deck
Lab technician
Qualifications
A team-oriented approach to work, and a can-do attitude are the most improtant qualifications. Other can include (for certain positions):
Must be available for night and weekend shifts.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. (certain jobs).
Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. (certain jobs).
