Counselor I and II
We are currently looking to hire people that are interested in making a difference in the life of at-risk teenage foster youth. We work with boys ages 7-18 years who are living in our Short-term Residential Therapeutic Programs. This position is a great resume-builder for those planning a future in criminal justice, social services, or teaching. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
-Be at least 21 years of age
-Pass criminal background clearance (live scan)
-Pass physical and drug test
-Have a valid California driver's license
-High school diploma
-One year, full-time experience working with at-risk youth in a facility OR 12 college units in criminology, psychology, sociology or early childhood development (Counselor I).
-Two years, full-time experience working with at-risk youth in a facility OR Bachelor's degree in any field. (Counselor II)
-Clean DMV report
-Dependable and responsible
-Enjoy working with at-risk male youth
