Le Grand/Chowchilla area almond processor seeking a full time Apprentice Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to start immediately with experience in some or all of the following fields: electrical, PLC, robotics, manufacturing processes, pneumatics, Sortex color sorter, etc. Duties will include inspection and repair of industrial plant equipment and machinery, modification/construction of facility machinery. Applicant is to be self-motivated, able to learn new tasks as needed, able to work with minimal supervision, capable of lifting and moving 50+ pounds, capable of climbing and descending ladders, able to meet other physical requirements. Background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering is a plus. Applicant must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and other food safety guidelines as required. Hourly wage beginning @ $18.00 or depending on experience. Company is an alcohol and drug free work environment.
