Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design & Development of System Test methodologies for PCIe/NVMe SSDs towards mass production readiness, beginning from product planning stages all the way till product launch
• Plan and execute product and platform qualification plans, from early prototypes to mass production, identifying and resolving design and manufacturing issues
• Ensure production test coverage meets the manufacturing quality and cost targets, for successful launch to production
• Lead debug and failure analysis of SSD from system to component level in production environment, working as a critical interface between various functional teams like Test, Reliability, QA, Firmware, ASIC, NAND Design, Validation, Operations and Manufacturing teams
• Identify and drive corrective actions, process improvements, error proofing, yield improvement efforts with appropriate functional owners
• Innovation is key Drive DFT techniques & implementation of automation solutions where possible

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• This position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, with at least 3+ years of experience in semiconductor NAND flash based product development, with some direct experience in SSD Test or product development
• Strong understanding of PCIe/NVMe protocol, System Architecture, ASIC and clear fundamentals of NAND flash operation at device level
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle and qualification processes for SSDs
• Experience with DFT techniques, Data Analysis tools, scripting languages preferably Python
• Ability to lead, direct and train a team, make quick decisions in complex situations, quick learner with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
