Central Valley Concrete and Trucking is looking for a Junior Estimator/Project Manager to add to our team. We are located in Merced and are waiting to hear from you. Whether you are a Construction Management Student or an experienced Construction Estimator, we can benefit from your skill set and perspective.
SUMMARY
Job duties will include reading plans and conducting onscreen takeoffs, transferring the takeoff information on to a spreadsheet, creating project budgets and generating proposals for customers. Close interaction with the other Estimators and Sales team will be required on a daily basis.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Take phone calls - heavily involved in our specialty projects
Jobsite visits
Make takeoff sheets, determine pricing and create estimates for our specialty project customers
Extract details from plans when requested
Work with Senior Estimator on estimating, pricing and takeoffs
Manage projects during production to ensure the projects are completed within budget
Other office duties, projects and tasks as assigned
