We are seeking banquet staff members, dishwashers, and line cooks to join our team. We operate a busy banquet facility in the heart of downtown Modesto. Our organization is growing so there is room for growth and additional opportunities. We start interviewing ASAP! Each position pay rate varies depending on experience. BANQUET TEAM MEMBER
Core Responsibilities:
execute floor plan layouts
set up table place settings
set up draping and décor items
read extremely detailed outlines and checklists
communicate with clients/team members/guests
serve and greet event guests
bus and clean tables
take out trash
cultivate organization in kitchen
maintain beverage and bar stations
maintain organization in main banquet hall
Main Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age (no exceptions)
Must be available at least three weekends a month
Must be able to work full 8 hour shifts on your feet
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. DISHWASHER
Core Responsibilities:
help keep the kitchen clean and do dishes
use a commercial dishwasher efficiently
take out trash
maintain a clean and organized kitchen
assist front of house when needed
Main Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age (no exceptions)
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be available evenings and weekends
Must be able to work full 8 hour shifts on your feet LINE COOK
Core Responsibilities:
Must be able to take directions from our Executive Chef
Help prep areas of use in the kitchen
Prepare ingredients
Help load and unload kitchen inventory
Help keep the kitchen clean and do dishes
Be independent and self motivated and able to lead and direct kitchen team in the absence of the executive chef
Main Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age (no exceptions)
Must have at least 1 year experience as a prep or line cook
Must be available at least three weekends a month
Must be able to work full 8 hour shifts on your feet
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
