At Kelly Services, we’re passionate about helping you find a job that works for you. How about this one? We’re seeking a Wine and Spirits Sensory Panelist to work in Modesto, CA. With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right. Training and Practice sessions are at $19/hour and increase to $20/hour once qualified to participate in the panels.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Possess high sensory acuity for a variety of aromas, flavors, and basic tastes and are able to commit to the mandatory training schedule without any absences. The schedule can include Monday-Friday 9am-1pm, worked hours will vary but typically range between 12-16 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will also be screened for their clear verbal communication skills, both individually and as part of a group. Once hired, panelists complete over 200 hours of training. Excellent written and verbal communication is required as well as familiarity with computers since all panelists enter data into computers. Other job requirements include but are not limited to:
Willingness to participate in three-phase interview process
No food allergies or aversions
Panelists are required to be non-smoking individuals
No impairment affecting the senses or ability to taste certain foods, wines or spirits
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work in a classroom setting
