Reports to: Commercial Electrical Trainee

Compensation: TBD and dependent on experience
Purpose:
Seeking Commercial Electrical Trainee to complete contracted work in the field. This position is under daily supervision of the job site foreman in the field and reports to Electrical Project Manager. Applicants must be reliable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment. Millcreek is looking for Commercial Electrical Trainee interested in making the electrical trade their career, by beginning California Electrical Trainee schooling and certification. Electrical apprentices are able to earn a paycheck while learning the trade through firsthand experience. Applicant must follow all quality, safety and efficiency protocols. Verifiable experience in commercial electrical work is preferred. Candidates should be highly motivated, dedicated and career oriented.

Position Details:
The Commercial Electrical Trainee is partnered with a licensed journeyman electrician and has on-the-job training (OJT) to become an electrician.
The Commercial Electrical Trainee helps to perform electrical work in commercial construction settings.
Learn and perform all scopes of large-scale projects, from slab-on-grade to rough in and trim.
Opportunity to Participate in official apprenticeship program and attend classes as required.
Millcreek Electrical reimburses the cost of classes and textbooks for any successfully completed WECA training course that is completed while you are an employee at Millcreek Electrical.
Required Specific Skills:
Prolonged walking, standing and climbing ladders.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. while using appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules.
