Cox eLearning Consultants, LLC (COX) is a California headquartered business/marketing consulting firm focused on serving eLearning solution providers. We are looking for an SEO/SEM/SMM expert with good customer skills. This is a part-time contract position, that could evolve into full-time. As a contractor, you will work out of your home-office and be responsible for your own equipment. Hours are normal U.S. business hours.

Summary of Responsibilities

Be a regular member of the COX consulting staff. Though focused in digital marketing, will also assist and advise in other areas of marketing.

Work directly with clients in ascertaining their needs, advising them and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Strategically advise and assist COX to expand its digital marketing business services.

Duties Include

Collect and analyze Web metrics.

Identify appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report key metrics from digital campaigns.

Conduct online marketing initiatives.

Conduct SEO audits, provide recommended fixes for errors, and implement fixes in Website CMS.

Optimize blogs and web pages for search engines (SEO tuning).

Focus on improving SERPs for brand Websites.

Develop and implement link building strategy.

Set up and manage PPC/CPC, remarketing, and Social Media advertising campaigns.

Create ad copies for Social Media advertising and Google Search PPC campaigns.

Conduct keyword research, advise on ad spend and ad placement, test ad copy, and optimize campaigns.

Manage, maintain, and update content and functionality using site CMS.

Conduct market research analysis, execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights.

Develop actionable insights and implications that demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client’s goals.

Skills and Qualifications

3+ years of work experience managing SEM, SEO, SMM.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, statistics or equivalent field.

Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns and SMM experience with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends).

Experience with SEO audit tools (e.g., SEMrush, SpyFu)

Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and customer acquisition.

Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.

Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, SEM, and SMM.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Windows 10 PC or new version with lots of CPU and memory to handle large files.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.

Experience in managing content publishing using WordPress CMS.

1+ years of experience in using HubSpot CRM and Marketing modules.

Compensation

Starting compensation is $22/hour for the first 90 days, with 10% increase thereafter upon satisfactory performance. This position is not open to international applicants at this time. Please apply if you are located within United States.
