Catholic Charities has retained Denham Resources to help them find the perfect person to act as the director for their Merced site. If your vocation is caring and you are not a “sit behind the desk” kind of person, this is a great opportunity. Catholic Charities is recognized for its’ ability to respond quickly and sustain that response when help is needed. This site serves the Merced County area through a variety of human services programs for those most in need. Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall operations of Merced center
- Implement the mission, vision, and values of Catholic Charities
- Spokesperson and coalition leader
- Assist Resource Committee, Guild and Executive Director in fund-raising
- Manage fiscal operations, budgeting, etc.
- Strategic planning with Executive Director
- Network throughout community
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-year degree
- Strong relationships in the Merced area
- Advanced experience in fund-raising
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as leader in non-profit, for-profit, or public sector
- Experience in management, financial management, budgeting, marketing, HR
- Proven relationship-building ability
- Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
- Able pass criminal background check, drug screen, and possess valid California driver’s license
