responsibilities:
The Sr. Systems Engineer role is responsible for providing engineering support, system deployment and administration of AWS and physical computing environments. The position is focused on designing and managing systems architectural design for a cloud-first AWS-based environment as well as providing mentoring, training and direction to other engineers. This position works closely with IT Network/System Engineers and IT Infrastructure support to implement, monitor and maintain production and Dev infrastructure. Additionally, they work closely with the IT Management to ensure all system changes are fully tested prior to release. All IT team members are responsible for enhancing the capabilities and efficiencies of application and infrastructure portfolio.
