Our client is leading the way in the insurance industry and growing! Currently in the need of anÂSenior AccountantÂto assist in the process of audits, financial statements, budget reports, cash flow, monitor the general ledger and accounting sub-systems. Â
If you have a strong knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting procedures, working experience in insurance accounting, and MS Excel please contact us.
Responsibilities:
Process financial statements, balance sheets, budget reports, cash flows and other reports as needed
Monitor general ledger accounts
Review current systems to determine proper use of controls to ensure operating procedures.
Assist with audits by preparing documentation and schedules
Answer inquiries on accounting practices and procedures with external or internal departments
Analyze data for presentation of finding and make recommendationsÂÂ
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 yearsâ experience in an accounting role
Bachelorâs degree in accounting a must
MS Office Suite, strong Excel
