We are seeking an experienced Investor Relations Manager to join our team at our Salinas, CA headquarters. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for all aspects of Investor Relations, including executing the companyâs investor relations program, helping shape and effectively communicate the companyâs strategic direction, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key analysts and the investment community, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms (e.g. presentations, press releases, employee meetings, etc.) to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
The Investor Relations Manager is a key company contact for the investment community and is responsible for enabling effective two-way communication between the company, the financial community, and other constituencies ensuring the accuracy of public information, including the investor relations section of the companyâs website. Internally, the role includes preparing company executives for their interaction with the investment community, including creating materials for earnings calls, as well as providing senior management with investor perspectives and expectations that are embedded in the companyâs stock price. The IR manager advises company management and the board of directors about financial and industry trends, shareholders concerns, and competitor actions that might impact the company. May assist in preparation of the Annual Report and Proxy.
Education and Experience:
â¢Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent work experience.
â¢10+ yearsâ experience in investor relations, equity research, and/or capital markets for public companies.
â¢Strong knowledge and understanding of financial modeling and valuation concepts and techniques usedby analysts and investors.
â¢Knowledge in financial accounting, public company reporting rules and regulations, and securities lawcompliance.
â¢Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creativesolutions.
â¢Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to explain complex topics in a clear, simple, andconcise manner would be an advantage.
â¢Proficient in MS Office products (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
â¢Ability to work under pressure and work independently with limited supervision.
The annual salary for this position is $100K to $130K
