SUMMARY
Provide guests with a quality food and beverage experience with an emphasis on exceptional guest service while presenting a professional and positive image of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrive to work in uniform with name tag at scheduled time ready to work.
Have knowledge of menu, wines, liquors, beers, specials, pricing and availability.
Follow all busser guidelines to assist the servers/waitperson to ensure quality guest service.
Follow posted side work chart for your proper shift.
All guests must be greeted or acknowledged within one minute of arriving in restaurant.
Anticipate guest needs, go the extra mile to make every guest feel special.
Keep restaurant organized and at a high level of cleanliness following all Company outlines.
Treat all co-workers in a courteous manner and with respect.
Use initiative to find tasks when not attending to guests, i.e. organizing and cleaning work areas.
Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; with strong communication and interpersonal skills and an emphasis on guest/guests. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, vendors/suppliers, the general public and other employees of the Company.
COMPUTER/BUSINESS MACHINE SKILLS
None
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk and hear. The employee occasionally is required to sit. The employee is continuously required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to lift 35 pounds. The employee is frequently required to bend, stoop and twist.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is usually indoors, in a controlled environment, and experiences a low to moderate noise level in the work environment. The employee is required to be flexible in work hours resulting from scheduled functions.
