Locally owned and operated restaurant is looking for an executive chef to lead the kitchen of a new restaurant in downtown Monterey. The restaurant will be housed in the historical Stokes Adobe which has been the home to many great restaurants since the 1950’s. The right candidate is a creative experienced executive chef with a passion for food, hospitality and and the restaurant experience.
Qualifications include….
- Executive Chef experience
- Classical training
- Experience with volume from scratch cooking
- Previous experience with a restaurant opening
- Menu Development Skills
- Able to manage all aspects of the kitchen
- Knowledge of food and labor controls
- Experience in fine dining and seasonal California cuisine
