Brief outline and job description:
Primary duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must be available evenings shifts.
Complete all items on Shift checklist by end of shift.
Follow established key control policy.
Ensure proper credit policies are followed.
Answering guest inquiries and offering personalized assistance.
Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
Open, secure, and balance out daily shift bank, which involves counting and verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions occurring while on duty.
Monitor room availability throughout the day.
Attend department meeting.
Completing other duties as assigned by Front Office Manager and Office Supervisors.
Communicating with other departments to fulfill guests needs.
Review arrivals noting special requests, blocking rooms as needed.
Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
Will train the right candidate.
