Stokes Adobe is looking for greeters, bussers, food runners, baristas, support staff, servers, and bartenders!
We are a new restaurant located in historical downtown Monterey that is centered around the love of community and gatherings. We serve an innovative seasonally driven menu with classic cocktails and freshly prepared dishes inspired by the history of the space. We take pride in operating a professional establishment that is dedicated to providing high quality service and food in a beautiful environment. If you are interested in playing a key role in a growing high-volume restaurant, this could be the job for you!
Job Description:
- Full OR Part time, including weekends and holidays
- Support the restaurant to ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive and friendly service at all times
- Table service 4-5 days/week and provide exemplary service. Model a “guest first” mentality for fellow team members
- Show a high level of awareness of both guests and employees
- Ability to uphold company standards of service. This includes adhering to house policies, procedures, standards, and training programs
- Daily communication regarding the shift and overall operations with management team
Qualifications:
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Highly engaged with a strong ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills with staff, management team, and guests
- Able to work and lead in a team environment while promoting teamwork and positive employee morale
- Ability to make well informed yet quick decisions for the good of the restaurant
- Highly energetic with a positive and supportive work style
- Food Safety certified
- Strong POS Skills
