Carmel Restaurants with multiple locations looking for Sous Chef. Sous Chef must have prior experience as a line cook and sous chef. The Sous Chef may work at multiple locations throughout the city of Carmel-By-The-Sea. Sous Chef must work well with a team and take directions from Restaurant Owners, Managers, and Head Chef. Sous Chef will work on the line, taking the lead in knowing recipes, locations of food items, be knowledgable on job descriptions of back of house employees. Sous Chef must be willing to act as a liaison between front of house staff and back of house staff when there are concerns. Sous Chef must be willing to train new employees.

Ideal candidate is bilingual, fluent in both spanish and english. Ideal candidate has a Managers Food Handling Certificate.

Sous Chefs are required to be trained on knife safety/knife skills and a current food handling certificate.
