Position/Title: Tasting Room Manager

Description:
Twisted Roots Winery is looking for a full-time tasting room manager. The tasting room is located in the sunny Carmel Valley Village, in a brand new tasting room space. We are seeking motivated individuals with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, appreciation of wine, and the ability to work weekends.
Duties of this position include; maintaining focus on sales goals, and ensuring all visitors to the Tasting Room enjoy a world-class experience. The Tasting Room Manager is also responsible for meeting sales goals, increasing club memberships and upholding all policies and procedures
Responsibilities include all aspects of Tasting Room Duties:
Responsible for meeting Tasting Room sales goals set by ownership.
Assist in development of innovative ideas to ensure continuation of Tasting Room growth.
Reconcile all daily sales folders, make deposits and submit appropriate reports to ownership on a regular basis.
First point of contact for guest experience issues.
Responsible for aesthetics of merchandise displays, outside areas and overall Tasting Room appearance.
Communicate any inventory or movement of wine needs.
Responsible for monthly wine and supply inventory reconciliations.
Responsible for maintaining data integrity of POS database.
Develop relationships with club members and the community to foster brand loyalty.
Consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Effectively share Family history with Tasting Room guests.
Work at Special Tasting Room Events.
Requirements:
Prior Management experience required
Prior Tasting Room experience preferred
Basic understanding of California wines, and wine business
POS-Point of Sale experience
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
Team player, with a positive and professional demeanor
Must be over 21 yrs of age
Compensation:
Negotiable; Salary or Hourly (depending on Exp)
Possible incentive program based on sales
