Our busy optometry/ophthalmology office located in Monterey is seeking a new optometric medical assistant.
We do our best to hire individuals that will add positively to our work family. One of our primary focuses is caring for our employees. We know that if our employees feel heard and taken care of, then our patients will be well taken care of as well.
Duties include:
Working up patients for the doctors: collecting chief complaint, visual acuity, etc
Performing various testings
Assisting the doctor with prescription refills
Occasional clerical work
Experience in the field is preferred but training will be provided, bilingual is a plus.
