Our boutique criminal defense law firm is located in Salinas, California and provides premier legal representation to persons accused of serious misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses. We have an immediate opening for a well qualified legal assistant. Positive attitude, excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to work in a team setting will distinguish the successful candidate for this position.
Job Duties include but are not limited to: Provide administrative support to a team of attorneys actively engaged in litigation of criminal cases. Place and answer telephone calls, schedule appointments, file documents and motions with the court, interact courteously and professionally with current and potential clients and their family members, court personnel, and public agencies. Prepare professional correspondence under attorney supervision. Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
