Position Overview:
The Cannabis Beverage Supervisor will be our Brewmaster, responsible for managing the day-to-day California bottling operations for our all natural cannabis infused beverages. Successful candidates will enjoy working on the production floor with our team ensuring that the monthly production schedule is met while on budget and respecting safety. They will manage employee scheduling, raw materials, oversee daily operations, be handy with production equipment, and enjoy the ability to have fun while leading a team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Measure and prepare food recipes for production
Schedule employees and raw materials
Operate manufacturing (filing/labeling) equipment leading teams of 5 to 10 employees
ServeÂas a positive role model of servant leadership to employees.
Required to Identify and eliminate potential sources of food safety risk.
ActÂas liaison between plant personnel and corporate functions;
Identifies issues quickly, develops action plans and coordinates team memberactivities, so that these issues are communicated upward, and dealt withquickly & effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years food manufacturing experience
2 Years+ Supervisory experience
Familiarity with CDFA regulations and standards
Able to explain training material to our operating staff
Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
Detail orientated and scrappy
Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Ability to work independently with minimal daily direction
High School Diploma, Bachelors Degree a plus
Spanish speaking a BIG plus
