Case Manager/Family Liaison for Friends Outside
Correctional Training Facility and Salinas Valley State Prison

This is a Friends Outside contract position at Correctional Training Facility/Salinas Valley State Prison
in Soledad, CA providing inmate services and programs to incarcerated men and women and support to their loved one.
What we do in prisons:
Friends Outside Case Managers/Family Liaison Services Specialists provide evidence based programs and services to incarcerated people and their loved ones, strengthening families, reducing recidivism, and bringing back hop to people in despair through:
⢠Parenting Education and family liaison services
⢠Visiting support
⢠Navigating family and reentry resources and sources of community support
⢠Creative Conflict Resolution groups (Part of the Alternatives to Violence Program Network)
⢠One on one preparation for release
Required Qualifications:
Approved criminal clearance (California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation)
Two year college degree
OR
two cumulative years of documented experience demonstrating a work history in the area of social service work or related fields
Compensation:
$19.00 an hour, 40 hours per week
