Recruitment Bonus:

$500 after third month of employment

$500 after sixth month of employment

THE COMPANY:

Social Vocational Services (SVS) has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout California since 1977.

THE POSITION:

We're looking for full-time Community Inclusion Facilitators (what we call our Direct Support Professionals) at our Salinas program office.

•Supervise and monitor clients during daily activities (including, but not limited to: paid work, social skills building, art, recreation, volunteering)

•Provide transportation to and from program and community activities

•Assist with personal hygiene needs

•Assess, evaluate, implement and chart client's progress on goals and objectives

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

•High school diploma, GED or equivalent

•Good driving record and valid California driver's license

•Post job offer, must obtain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance

•Must pass post-job offer job-related physical exam including TB test

•First Aid/CPR certification (SVS will provide)

•Effective written and verbal communication
