You know how to pay bills! We need you to teach and assist with paying bills and money management.

You know the importance of taking care of your health needs! We need someone to support with monitoring health, making appointments, picking up and correctly taking prescription medications.

You know how to cook some great, healthy easy-to-do recipes! We need someone to teach some healthy cooking!

Flexibility is your middle name. You must be able to work week days, evenings, and some weekends.

Hope Services' Community Living Services program has an opening for a Life Skills Trainer to work with men and women who have developmental disabilities living in the Monterey-Salinas area.

The Life Skills Trainer works with an individual in his or her home as well as in the community, teaching daily living skills and providing other structured activities. Your schedule as a Life Skills Trainer would depend upon each individual client's case. Professional or personal experience working with someone with a disability is great, but interest and a caring attitude are essential.

Schedule:

Fulltime.

Pay Rate:

$15.50/hr.

Requirements:

Available to work flexible hours including weekends.

Must have current, valid California driver's license with a clean DMV record;

Reliable car with valid automobile insurance.

Approval by Hope Services' insurance carrier required.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Livescan fingerprint and Department of Justice background clearance.
