The Program Supervisor assists the Director in the daily operation and ongoing development of the Mobile Response Team in Monterey County. The Mobile Response Team supports families in serious distress with immediate crisis intervention and mental health services. The Program Coordinator will be a part of meetings on both a programmatic and clinical nature, interacting with a wide variety of mental health and social services agency personnel. Responsibilities also include all facets of the hiring process of employees as well as clinical and job-related supervision. The Program Supervisor may also provide family-based mental health counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services to children and families, which may occur at the program site and in the community, including hospitals, schools, and family homes.

Location:

Salinas, CA

Responsibilities:

Assist the Director in maintaining a fiscally viable program that meets the needs of children and families.

Assist in the development and presentation of program specific training to employees.

Provide individual and/or group supervision to assigned staff members on a weekly basis.

Monitor, and as required approve paperwork including: Medi-Cal, and other required paperwork.

Assist in all facets of the hiring process of new employees.

Serve as the clinical lead and work with the treatment team to provide crisis intervention and other mental health services as needed in client homes, county 5150/5585 ports, and in the community.

As needed, provide counseling, therapy, and case management services to ensure the successful transition of clients and their families to community-based resources.

Participate in treatment reviews, program staff meetings, and IEP meetings when necessary.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling

Registered LCSW, LMFT, or PhD with the California BBS

At least three years’ experience in working with children and families in mental health settings preferred

Supervisory experience preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Bilingual Spanish/English abilities a plus

Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with a diverse population of clients

Own vehicle, California driver’s license and auto insurance

TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

Schedule:

Full-Time

Flexible schedule with ability to work some evenings and weekends or provide on-call coverage as needed
