Field Service Technician
General Responsibilities
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing installs and service calls and ensure all work is completed and customers are satisfied.
Specific Responsibilities
Install Modem equipment at customers house
Run CAT5E cable from Modem to customers Computer or Router
Perform installs including setting up customers networks and or computers
Ensure all installation work is completed and meets approval by Customer
Track all installation materials and ensure proper supplies are in place or notify manager if supplies are needed.
Communicate with scheduling support staff and accept changes to the schedule
Do onsite trouble shooting regarding customer issues
Assist in larger projects
Qualifications
Experience and Education
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in RF installations.
A minimum of two (2) years working with Windows OS and Mac OS to set up internet connectivity
Technical Skills
Ability to connectorized CAT5 cable.
Ability to carry and climb ladders.
Ability to climb towers if necessary.
Experience in setting up and checking TCP/IP stacks in customer routers and or computers.
Performance Skills

Bi-Lingual (Spanish) prefered
