PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Practices safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working.
Service line employee is responsible for working with asbestos, and other hazardous waste removal while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation. Operates all necessary equipment in service line in accordance with operation training and guidelines and safety procedures.
Performs maintenance when required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a current Asbestos Abatement and Hazwopper Certification
Basic safety courses including site specific procedures Service line employee is responsible for working with asbestos, and other hazardous waste removal while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation
The individual will also adhere to EPA, OSHA and local requirements regarding safety, hazardous materials handling, etc.
The individual may also participate in industry training, update certifications as needed for the Environmental industry.
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
Compliance with MVR policy
Compliance with Drug policy
Compliance with Background checking policy
Possess all required I-9 documentation
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to pass a asbestos and lead medical clearance examination and medically cleared to wear negative pressure respirator.
Ability to wear a respirator for long periods of time
Ability to conform with work hours
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Potentially Includes On Call
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
