We are a Transportation Company and we are seeking for a Full Time Dispatcher who works to direct the day to day route operations, and reports to the Dispatcher Supervisor. His/her duties involve daily communication and interaction with drivers and clients. He/ she must also organize and conduct activities to assure safe, cost-effective, on time operating performance, assures routes are timely, and communicate service issues to the Dispatch Supervisor as appropriate. He/she will work directly with the all departments including the buying department, shipping and receiving and operations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the trucking industry and a general knowledge of the geography of the Western United States.
Will train to use our dispatching electronic logging software PCS/Xpress.
Qualifications
Bilingual Preferred (Spanish / English)
1-year previous dispatcher experience preferred
1 year previous in transportation routing and scheduling expertise
Efficient Route Planning, Coordinating the inbound/outbound freight
1 year of Customer Services experience is preferred
Booking outside carriers as necessary
Able to demonstrate professional phone matter
Demonstrate high customer service commitment
Work under pressure and Independently
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast pace environment
Office hours Monday thru Friday are 8:00AM to 5:00PM, and work 1-2 Saturday's per month only half day. more details.
