What You Will Be Doing

- Provide leadership for global trade compliance that supports global business objectives and satisfies international legal requirements for both imports and exports.
- Ensuring importing, exporting, and supply chain security activities comply with US laws, implementing regulations, and guidelines.

- Analyze products to determine export jurisdiction and commodity classifications.

What You Need for this Position

- BA/BS Degree minimum; further education in trade controls strongly preferred (e.g. export certification, courses)
- 7 + years of experience working with established import/export compliance systems with international responsibilities

- Expert knowledge and experience with U.S. government regulations as set forth in the ITAR, EAR, OFC, and other relevant export compliance regulations

- Strong understating of U.S. government agency responsibilities in the export licensing review process

- U.S. Customs brokers license is a plus

- Effective communication skills, both oral and in written, with corporate, business unit and U.S. Government counterparts

- Experience with trade compliance-related automated systems such as ACE, the EEI filing system in ACE, SNAP-R, DECCS and Restricted Party screening tools

- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
