Job Details
You will be working to deliver solutions such as precisionFDA, the St Jude Cloud and UK Biobank Platform.
Your Responsibilities:
Build, and maintain efficient, scalable, reusable, and reliable infrastructure specifically targeted to the cloud environment.
Design, document, and implement new web service APIs for internal and external services.
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Enable integration of our services with external systems.
Work with scientists and clinicians to understand domain-specific needs
Your Skills:
Ruby on Rails
NodeJS
Docker
Full understanding of Cloud computing and object oriented programming
NoSQL
AWS or similar
MVC, ORM, RESTful APIs
Git for code versioning
Linux/Unix shell
Preferred, but not necessary:
Java
Python
Experience integrating and harmonizing genotypic and phenotypic data
Experience with Bioinformatics
What do YOU look like?
Masters in computer science or related fields
Background in full-stack or back end development
Background in Bioinformatics is HIGHLY preferred
