Position Overview:The Biomedical Equipment Technician I maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Plan and Sutter eQuip Program. Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of a limited scope of biomedical equipment under the guidance and direct supervision of an experienced Biomedical Technician.Qualifications: HS Diploma Required Or equivalent education/experience Associate's Required Or equivalent education/experience Bachelor's Preferred Experience servicing medical equipment typically obtained in 6 months to two years required, preferably in a hospital environment required. Experience in performing electrical safety testing on biomedical instrumentation preferred.
