Description:
Looking for is more of a pure software engineer/developer or SRE with experience doing development/operations on MicroServices. Likely somebody works on web/cloud development.
Requirements:
5 years minimum working in a Software Engineering, SRE, or DevOps role.
Fluency/expertise in at least one of Python, Java, Groovy, JavaScript (Typescript) or Go and familiarity/experience in at least two.
Proven experience of shepherding applications to a production state.
Deployed and run applications using MicroService architecture.
Strong troubleshooting capabilities across both software and deployment stacks.
Ability to debug, trace, find and fix issues in deployed software.
Knowledge and strong experience working with CI and CD.
Worked with containers, software-defined infrastructure/infrastructure as code and configuration management:
Nomad, Kubernetes, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc.
Experience with monitoring and alerting systems like Prometheus, Nagios, and Grafana, etc.
Understanding of VMWare, Openstack, or another Hypervisor platform.
