Job Description

Hiring for projects in the Los Angeles and Orange County markets.

Responsibilities of the Construction Superintendent:

• Reading blueprints
• Working with a variety of people with different levels of experience
• Manage crews to include subcontractors, vendor deliveries and on-site management
• Have experience as a Superintendent for commercial projects
• Proficient computer knowledge including MS Office 365 and Procore desired, but not required
• Capable of creating Change Orders with time and material breakdown
• Responsible for photographing Change Orders, before and after repairs have been made and saving photos in electronic files
• Responsible for creating RFI’s
• Knowledge and basic understanding of budgets, project materials and labor
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed project budgets
• Reviewing/approving time sheets for accuracy and discrepancies
• Reviewing/approving all project invoices for accuracy and discrepancies
• OSHA site safety administration and responsibility compliance required
• Able to update project schedule

Qualifications

Required experience of the Construction Superintendent:

• Commercial experience preferred but not required
• Computer literate (Procore knowledge and usage helpful)
• Demonstrated ability to run jobs
• Review of contracts, job site conditions

Other requirements:

• Valid California State Driver’s License (clean record) and current, valid insurance, and clean background check.
• Supervisory experience: 1-5years desired
• Construction experience: 5-10years desired
