We are looking for a Phlebotomist - NUHW (National Union of Healthcare Workers) with the Clinical Laboratory Department at Queen of the Valley Medical Center.Location: Napa, CASchedule: Part Time - 56 biweekly hoursShift: 8-hour DaysJob Summary:Under moderate supervision, obtains specimens from patients of all ages by venipuncture or capillary puncture. Prepares specimens for distribution to laboratory sections. Assist in daily operations of clerical office, answers department telephones, registers patients, responds to client requests for laboratory data and generate/transmit patient reports. Performs all work under moderate supervision.Skills:Basic computer skills

Position Requirements:Education:High School graduate or equivalent
Experience:Completion of required phlebotomy externship
New graduates are welcome
License/Certification:Valid California CPT I or CPT II (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certificate
Preferred Position QualificationsOne (1) year experience as a Phlebotomist or completion of 6-month phlebotomy program
One (1) year previous clerical/receptionist experience
