HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST CONTRACT TO HIRE NEWPORT BEACH, CA OR AUSTIN, TXGenuent is hiring a Human Resources Specialist for a major global investment management firm in either Newport Beach, CA or Austin, TX area. Seeking candidates with prior experience in Human Resources as they will be the first point of contact for employees and alumni to address immediate HR needs globally.If you're a match, please apply or contact RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and execute on client end-to-end HR business processes, including but not limited to those related to global benefits, payroll, mobility, and timekeeping.
• Act as an escalation point for more complex inquiries and provide guidance to others on these issues
• Identify process improvements and manage projects through conception to implementation
• Process transactions in our HR systems and maintain data quality
• Address the individual HR needs of employees and managers, in line with client policies; providing excellent customer service while doing so
• Perform testing and documentation for HR systems and process improvements
• Work cross-functionally to improve efficiency and consistently execute all HR business processes; effective at gathering and synthesizing information from multiple parties
• Provide thoughtful, accurate and timely responses to HR colleagues and employees, managers, and business leaders
• Provide inquiry-related data and insights on themes to improve the employee experience
• Support further build out of GPS services & participation in implementation efforts

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of HR experience, Shared services experience is helpful
• Demonstrable ability to guide teammates on more complex issues and bring to successful resolution
• Experience running projects from proposal through implementation and to successful completion
• Affinity for technology, ability to think with a "tech mindset, and interest in HR technologies such as ServiceNow & Workday
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow, and/or Workday
• Confirmed ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Strong critical evaluation skills - ability to identify the root causes of problems through an expanded, holistic view vs. looking at smaller, discrete parts or at symptoms in isolation
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously
• Willingness to embrace new HR technologies and changing processes
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Highly professional manner, with the ability to interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization
• Exhibits intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness to find additional information to better understand issues and topics at hand and uses this information to present thoughtful new ideas
